New Rochelle Library Director Thanks Advocacy Groups

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y.—Three library groups deserve thanks for their extraordinary efforts to help the New Rochelle Library.

Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library: For 35 years, the Friends have raised money for special projects at the library. They have established a bookstore inside the library, hold monthly book sales, and organize all of the donations given to the library. For more information please call (914)-813-3705.

New Rochelle Public Library Foundation: The NRPLF was founded in 1993. Their efforts have resulted in additional computers for library patrons, renovations, and many other public programs and enhancements. For more information, visit http://www.nrplfoundation.org/.

Partnership for the Huguenot Children’s Library: In 1992, a group of concerned citizens banded together to save the recently closed and vandalized Huguenot Branch Library.
